TAMIYA SAND SCORCHER (2010) – NO ESC

Originally released in 1979, the R/C Sand Scorcher was warmly received by fans around the world with its humorous shape and superb mechanics. This re-release of the Sand Scorcher, which adheres to the basic design of the original while incorporating many further developed parts, will remind you of the original. The body is molded in white polystyrene and can be painted with Tamiya plastic model paints. The rear-wheel drive 2WD chassis has realistic and aggressive performance that will undoubtedly excite you.

Chassis layout: The chassis has a 2mm thick FRP plate with a reinforcing aluminum plate for strength and flexibility to ensure stability. 4-wheel independent suspension, it has double wishbone suspension at the front and rear, it has a swing axle setup, molded suspension arms and oil dampers. The electronics and battery are protected by a durable box in transparent robust plastic. It comes equipped with ball bearings all around the car to reduce friction losses, The car also has 3-piece rims and comes with grooved tires at the front and ribbed tires at the rear that ensure superb off-road performance.

Tamiya kit comes as a kit, and this is what you need to make it ready to run:

• 2-channel remote control with receiver. 2.4GHz recommended.
• Battery pack: 7.2V Ni-Mh or a 7.4V Lipo pack (Round case) with Tamiya connector (not included)
• Charger that fits the type of battery you are going to use, and with the correct connector.
• Steering servo – we recommend with 25T spline, as this fits right into the Tamiya kit.
• ESC – with the correct connector, in relation to the battery. Choose with BEC function.
• Paint for the body.
